Cyber Search Partners is supporting an established international consultancy seeking an AI & Cloud Director to lead and grow its UK practice.

The business already has a UK presence and is investing in its technical delivery capability. This role will bring dedicated leadership to its AI, data and cloud offering, combining practice development, client delivery and commercial growth.

You will lead an existing team of approximately 10 people, draw on wider international expertise and grow the practice’s capability and headcount.

The opportunity

You will have scope to shape the UK offering, influence hiring and investment priorities, and build on an existing client base with the support of an international consulting business.

There is flexibility on the start date for the right person.

The role

• Set the UK strategy and develop service offerings across AI, data and cloud.

• Own commercial performance, including pipeline, revenue, margin and utilisation.

• Win new clients and expand existing accounts through a consultative approach.

• Build relationships with technology and cloud partners to develop joint opportunities.

• Lead senior client discussions, translating business priorities into practical programmes of work.

• Set technical direction across enterprise AI and cloud architecture, providing oversight on complex design decisions.

• Oversee a portfolio of engagements, ensuring delivery quality and measurable outcomes.

• Hire, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team of AI, data and cloud specialists.

What we are looking for

• A strong consulting or professional services background, with senior responsibility for clients, delivery and growth.

• Typically 10+ years across AI, data, cloud or technology consulting.

• Credibility across both AI and cloud architecture, including deep expertise in at least one of Azure, AWS or GCP.

• Experience delivering complex AI, Generative AI, cloud or digital transformation programmes.

• A track record of owning commercial targets, winning work and growing client accounts.

• Experience building and developing practices or multidisciplinary teams.

• Confidence engaging executive stakeholders while challenging technical decisions in detail.

• Knowledge of enterprise AI patterns, including RAG and AI agents, alongside cloud adoption, migration, governance, security and cost management.

• Experience developing opportunities through hyperscaler partnerships would be particularly valuable.
