Digital forensics instructor

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Digital Forensics Instructor to join an international cybersecurity training programme, delivering practical, hands-on instruction to professional and government audiences.

The role will focus on digital forensics, DFIR and networking fundamentals, combining classroom teaching with practical exercises and realistic scenarios.

Key Training Areas

The instructor will be responsible for delivering training covering:

• Introduction to DFIR

• Linux Forensics

• Windows Forensics

• Network Forensics

• Networking Essentials

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, instructor-led cybersecurity and digital forensics training.

• Develop and deliver practical labs, exercises and realistic scenarios.

• Create and maintain training materials and supporting content.

• Adapt delivery to different levels of technical knowledge and learning requirements.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Stay current with developments in digital forensics, DFIR and cybersecurity.

• Contribute to the wider development of the academy's training programmes.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in Digital Forensics / DFIR.

• Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux forensics.

• Strong understanding of network forensics and networking fundamentals.

• Experience using relevant forensic tools, methodologies and techniques.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

• Fluent English.

• Previous experience delivering technical training or instructor-led courses is highly desirable.

• Experience developing training materials and practical labs is an advantage.

• Relevant industry certifications are beneficial.
