We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Cloud Instructor to deliver practical, instructor-led technical training across Microsoft 365, Azure, cloud fundamentals and related cybersecurity concepts.
This role is best suited to someone with strong hands-on experience across the Microsoft enterprise stack, particularly Microsoft 365 E5, and the ability to confidently teach both technical and mixed-experience audiences.
The role is not purely cybersecurity-focused, but the instructor should be comfortable covering security, identity, compliance, cloud administration and practical cyber awareness within Microsoft and cloud environments.
Key responsibilities
•Deliver instructor-led classroom and hands-on technical training.
•Teach Microsoft 365 E5, Microsoft cloud services, Azure and wider cloud concepts.
•Support learners across different levels, from foundational through to more advanced technical audiences.
•Prepare and maintain course materials, presentations, labs and practical exercises.
•Develop realistic cloud and Microsoft enterprise lab environments.
•Assess learner progress through practical tasks, exercises and technical challenges.
•Keep training content aligned with current Microsoft technologies, cloud best practice and relevant cybersecurity concepts.
•Mentor students and provide clear technical guidance throughout the learning process.

Cybersecurity exposure
This is not a pure Red Team or Blue Team role, but the instructor should be comfortable covering practical cybersecurity topics such as:
•Security administration within Microsoft environments
•Endpoint, identity and cloud security
•Security monitoring and incident response concepts
•Threat hunting fundamentals
•Log analysis and Windows hardening
•Responsible and ethical use of offensive security concepts where relevant
Required experience
•Strong technical training or instructor experience.
•Strong Microsoft 365 experience, ideally with Microsoft 365 E5 exposure.
•Broad cloud experience, ideally across Azure and AWS.
•Practical understanding of cybersecurity within Microsoft and cloud environments.
•Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to learners at different levels.
•Experience creating or delivering hands-on labs, exercises or technical workshops.
•Strong communication, presentation and mentoring skills.
Certifications
Relevant Microsoft instructor and role-based certifications would be highly desirable, such as:
•Microsoft Certified Trainer / equivalent instructor certification
•AZ-104
•AZ-500
•SC-200
•SC-300
•SC-100
•Microsoft 365 or security-focused certifications
Additional security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, OSCP, PNPT, CRTO, CRTP, GCFA or GCFE would be useful, but are not the main priority.
Ideal profile
The ideal candidate will be a confident Microsoft and cloud instructor who can bring technical content to life through practical examples, hands-on labs and clear teaching. They will have strong Microsoft 365 E5 knowledge, good Azure experience, broader cloud awareness, and enough cybersecurity understanding to deliver security-focused content within Microsoft enterprise environments.
