We are supporting a growing technology team that is looking to hire a Senior DevOps Engineer to help design, improve, and scale modern cloud and on-premise platforms.

This role would suit someone with a strong DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability background who enjoys working across Kubernetes environments, cloud infrastructure, automation, observability, and large-scale application platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve and evolve CI/CD and software delivery processes

• Enhance platform observability, monitoring, and reliability

• Manage and optimise Kubernetes environments across cloud and on-premise infrastructure

• Support high-availability and high-traffic applications

• Contribute to infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives

• Help drive DevOps best practices across engineering teams

• Mentor junior colleagues and share technical knowledge

• Evaluate and introduce new technologies where appropriate

Requirements

• Previous experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles

• Strong experience with Kubernetes, including Red Hat OpenShift

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GKE

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines

• Good knowledge of Linux environments

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tooling

• Experience managing virtualised environments (VMware and/or KVM)

• Experience supporting high-scale, high-traffic applications

• Experience with Apache Kafka or other message broker technologies

• Scripting or programming experience
