Senior Mentoring Trainer

About the Role

We are looking for a high-level, experienced educator and trainer to support a long-term training programme.

This is a Train-the-Trainer (TTT) and mentoring role focused on teaching and educator development. The successful candidate will help develop a team of instructors, improve their teaching skills and methodologies, and support the ongoing development of the training programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Train-the-Trainer (TTT) programmes for instructors.

• Mentor and coach trainers to improve their teaching and facilitation skills.

• Develop trainers' ability to deliver engaging, effective and structured lessons.

• Provide guidance on teaching methodologies, lesson planning and classroom management.

• Coach trainers on learner engagement, assessment and giving effective feedback.

• Observe training sessions and provide constructive feedback.

• Help trainers adapt their approach to different learning styles and audiences.

• Support the development of teaching materials, lesson plans and training methodologies.

• Help establish and maintain high standards of teaching and instructional delivery.

• Provide ongoing remote mentoring and support between on-site visits.

• Work with programme management on the development of the wider teaching team.

Requirements

• Significant experience in education, teaching, training or instructional development.

• Proven experience training and developing other teachers, trainers or instructors.

• Strong knowledge of adult learning and teaching methodologies.

• Experience with Train-the-Trainer programmes.

• Strong understanding of lesson planning, classroom management and learner engagement.

• Excellent presentation, facilitation and communication skills.

• Experience observing and assessing teaching performance and providing feedback.

• Ability to mentor and influence experienced professionals.

• Comfortable working with international and multicultural teams.

• Willingness to undertake international travel.

Ideal Profile

We are looking for a senior educator, teacher trainer, instructional coach or learning and development professional who has substantial experience developing other educators.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can teach teachers how to teach, improving their confidence, delivery, classroom presence, lesson structure and ability to engage learners.
